What are the costs of the packers and how does it work?
- Our minimum booking is 2 ladies for 4 hours for $440 inc GST
- Receive a 10% discount and only pay so only pay $400 for 2 ladies for 4 hours when you book with Hire A Mover or buy boxes from Hire A Boxes
- If you need more hours to assist in packing more, you can just request it on the day and the packers will be able to stay longer.
- Control the costs by getting our packers to focus on time consuming areas that are full of potential breakable items – such as the kitchen and living room
What are the benefits of our packing service?
- Our packing service has been designed to help reduce your stress and allows you to focus on more important things
- The packers will help wrap your items in butchers paper or bubble wrap and carefully pack the boxes to ensure they will be safe during transit
- Customers generally choose to get the packing service in the day before the move
- If the boxes are labelled or you are there to point out what needs to go where, then the service can be very quick as our packers are very efficient.
- You can also get settled into your new home quicker by getting our packers to unpack your boxes after moving
- Our packers are also experience in office move so why not use them when you want goods packed carefully and efficiently instead of relying on everyone at their own desk to do it themselves. We have undertaken hundreds of office packs and unpacks in and around the Melbourne CBD

We recently moved house in Elwood and were getting really stressed as we still had a lot to do before the big moving date. We found Hire a Packer on the internet and were so lucky we did. The two ladies helped us pack for 4 hours and were friendly, supportive and really good at packing. We had them focus on the kitchen and living room. My husband and I would definately recommend getting the extra help from Hire A Packer, it made a huge difference.
